Ashlee Simpson Gives Birth To Baby Girl; Bronx's Mom And Evan Ross ‘Can’t Wait’ To Bring Their Daughter Home
This news makes us want to "la la"! According to reports, Ashlee Simpson has given birth to a baby girl – her first child with husband Evan Ross, whom she married in August 2014.
The “Pieces of Me” singer reportedly welcomed her second child into the world on Thursday night. "Their whole family was around to support them," a source told E! News. "Evan was very emotional and loves Ashlee so much. He did not leave her side and wanted to go through this with her every step of the way. He can't wait to be a dad. He would do anything for Ashlee and now this baby girl. Ashlee is doing great and can't wait to get home to be with her family."
Simpson isn’t the only one excited for this baby’s arrival. The 30-year-old crooner previously told Us Weekly that her son Bronx, who was born in Nov. 2008, was looking forward to having a sister.
“He’s really excited! He’s got a little brother. Now he’s going to have a little sister!" she gushed. In August 2014, Ashlee’s ex-husband, “Fall Out Boy” guitarist Pete Wentz, who she divorced in 2011 after three years of marriage, and his girlfriend Meagan Camper welcomed their first son together, Saint Laszlo. The rocker dished to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” that the birth of his second child was “beautiful,” but also terrifying.
"It was crazy. The doctor was like, 'You're going to help, you're going to deliver this baby,'" the 35-year-old artist recalled. "And I was like, 'Oh my god, I'm not ready.'"
Bronx, however, was more than ready to have a sibling. Wentz told People magazine that his eldest was “over the moon to be a big brother.” And it looks like that statement is true yet again! Simpson dished to E! News that he “thinks it’s cute” a little girl will be running around the house, adding that Bronx is also preparing for future tea parties with his little sis. (How adorable is that?)
