Ashley Jewell, fiancé of Housewives' star, dies in brawl
Ashley A.J. Jewell, the former fiancé of a cast member from The Real Housewives of Atlanta died after a fight late Friday outside an Atlanta strip club, police said, according to the Associated Press.
Jewell died from massive head injuries he suffered in a one on one fight outside the Body Tap Club in Atlanta which he co-owned, police said, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Frederick Richardson has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the death, police said, according to the report. He also was injured but will be jailed after he is released from the Grady Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the fight was still not known as of Saturday but investigators said witnesses were being cooperative, the Journal notes.
Jewell was engaged to Housewives' star Kandi Burrus until last August. He had appeared in several episodes of the show.
