Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore: 'Sad, Hurt and Embarrassed' over $290 Million Divorce [PHOTOS]
The six-year marriage of Hollywood stars Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore may be coming to an end, and the couple's silence on the matter over the past few months has added to the rumors.
Their once-active Twitter accounts, which used to be full of notes about their happily married life, have been quiet for some time. Moore is reportedly no longer following her husband on the social network.
The rumor is that Moore is no longer willing to tolerate Kutcher's alleged cheating habits. He has been said to have an affair with Sara Leal, a woman he met Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, and she could be the cause of the split.
Ashton was a serial cheater, and Demi just couldn't take it anymore. She didn't deserve to live that way. It's a painful time for Demi, a source revealed to Star Magazine. It was definitely a long time coming, but they're finally done for good.
Both stars had been rather quiet about the whole issue, excluding mysterious and ambiguous Twitter messages Moore sent last week. When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger, she wrote on Sept. 23. Later on Sept. 26, she sent a photo of herself with her eyes closed. Attached was a caption that read: I see through you ...
However, Kutcher slowly broke his silence with more mysterious and indirect tweets. On Sept. 29, he sent a spotify link that led to a classic track by Public Enemy called Don't Believe The Hype. Earlier that Thursday, he gave us more insight into his life with a saying he tweeted: When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you make an ASS out of U and ME.
Here are some tweets from fans on Twitter who weighed in on the rumors:
If the divorce rumors are true, Ashton Kutcher is really sincere about stepping into Charlie Sheen's shoes.
Ashton Kutcher: Don't assume anything: Looks like Ashton Kutcher really doesn't want us to believe the hype.
When celebrities like Ashton Kutcher tell me not believe everything I read on line I remind myself that I just read his quote online.
The couple was married in 2005, in Beverly Hills, after a two-year romance. Despite the possibility that the recent rumors are untrue, unnamed sources have suggested otherwise.
Entertainment Tonight reports that a close friends said Moore was sad, hurt and embarassed. They are reported to be battling it out in a $290 Million divorce. Her and Ashton had been receiving counseling from Kabbalah over the summer to try to fix their marriage, the source continued. She also revealed that they are living apart now.
