Ashton Kutcher Defends Himself Against Allegations That He Made Fun Of Country Music At CMA's [Video]
Ashton Kutcher's approval rating seems to be taking a nose dive yet again. The actor came under fire for allegedly cheating on Demi Moore and taking up with another woman before the divorce was final. Earlier this year, Charlie Sheen gave his own review of Kutcher's acting skills, saying that he sucked on Two and a Half Men. Now it seems that country stars are peeved at the star following his appearance at the Country Music Awards. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the actor attended the award show when he has nothing to do with country music. His appearance at the show seemed like a attempt at generating more publicity for himself. His over-the-top attire and interpretation of the song I Cross My Heart led many to believe that he was making fun of the genre. This became clear after he presented the Female Artist of the Year Award to Miranda Lambert who was not too thrilled with the way the actor presented himself.
Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? she tweeted. Watching it back now and I'm kinda wondering?
Ashton denied that he meant any harm @Miranda_Lambert I Am One Of The biggest country Music fans you've ever met. Wasn't making fun at all.
Justin Moore also took offense to the actor's CMA conduct. He took to Twitter to share his disdain for the Ashton's western looking getup. Stating: Seen Ashton kutcher at the acms tonight. What a douche! Moore tweeted. I don't care for people making a mockery of the way country artists' dress.
