Ashton Kutcher Enjoys Fun Day With Mila Kunis At Disneyland [Photos]
Ashton Kutcher enjoyed a day out with wife Mila Kunis at Disneyland after recovering from a rare autoimmune disease called vasculitis.
The actor clearly wanted to show fans he was doing fine after dropping the upsetting news in an episode of National Geographic's "Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge" in August. At the time, Kutcher said the disease "knocked out" his vision, hearing and equilibrium. It took a year before he got healed completely.
The 44-year-old "Two and a Half Men" star took to his Instagram feed Sunday to post a couple of snaps with Kunis from the theme park. In one photo, Kutcher gave a curious look as he took a selfie with the "Star Wars" stormtroopers in the background. He smiled comfortably in the second photo as he and his wife posed before the Sleeping Beauty castle. Mila donned a Mickey Mouse baseball cap, while her husband sported a "Star Wars" cap and T-shirt.
"Give you one guess where we went to celebrate the end of summer," he wrote.
His photos garnered over 400,000 likes from fans. Some of them were upset that they couldn't meet the couple while visiting Disneyland.
"The best couple in the history of the human race," one supporter wrote in the comments section, while another said, "I can't imagine what it would be like to see stormtroopers then look over and see you two!"
"Living your best lives," one fan commented.
It was not known whether the couple brought their kids with them to the theme park. Kutcher and Kunis do not upload photos of their children on social media to protect their privacy.
After his revelation last month, Kutcher took to Twitter and clarified that the "Running Wild" episode was filmed three years ago.
"Before there are a bunch of rumors/ chatter/ whatever out there. Yes, I had a rare vasculitis episode 3 yrs ago. (Autoimmune flare-up) I had some impairments hear, vision, balance issues right after. I fully recovered. All good. Moving on," he tweeted.
He did not clearly say when was diagnosed with the disease but it certainly made the star of "That 70s Show" to appreciate health better than before.
"You don't really appreciate it until it's gone until you go, 'I don't know if I'm ever gonna be able to see again. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to hear again, I don't know if I'm going to be able to walk again. I'm lucky to be alive," he added in his "Running Wild" interview.
