'Assassin's Creed 3' Setting: What Does Gameplay During The American Revolution Look Like? Concept Art Leaked
One of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming Assassin's Creed 3 is the visualization of America during the Revolution, bringing historical New York and Boston back to life. Fans are in for a treat as Game Informer just released new concept art for the game.
We've drawn out some of the coolest pieces of concept art from what we saw to help illustrate some of the game's most compelling locations, events, and characters, wrote Game Informer's Matt Miller. The images came from developer Ubisoft's Montreal location, where early depictions of the project were revealed.
One illustration shows an aerial view colonial Boston under a dark, stormy sky with ships visible on the harbor. Expect to witness some major changes to the city over the course of the full game, Miller hints.
Another image depicted an internal view of the city, with protagonist Connor seen weaving between redcoats strolling the streets.
The third and final picture is a murky illustration of New York after the Great Fire in 1776 tore the city to ruins.
AC players were excited enough when the cover art was revealed a couple of weeks ago, and the leaked images are sure to incite fans even further.
That is some gorgeous concept art for #AssassinsCreed3. I can see myself stalk victims and hunt enemies in these environments already, one user posted on Twitter.
The game is expected to be released in October 2012, leaving fans plenty of time to dwell on rumors and speculations.
