Candace Cameron Bure is back as librarian-turned-crime-solver Aurora Teagarden in Sunday’s premiere of “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

It’s the first of three new movies in the series airing in August and, along with Bure, features cast members Niall Matter (Nick Miller), Marilu Henner (Aida), Lexa Doig (Sally Allison) and Peter Benson (Arthur Smith) all reprising their roles.

Directed by Mark Jean and written by Teena Booth, the new mystery movie finds someone playing a menacing game of cat and mouse with Aurora.

“When someone begins taunting Aurora Teagarden with cryptic clues left at crime scenes, the librarian-turned-crime buff attempts to figure out who is behind the creepy ‘game,’ the synopsis shares. “But when the people closest to Aurora become targets, the game takes on a much more dangerous edge as it points to a planned murder.”

The Hallmark movie synopsis continues: “Once it is discovered that Aurora’s blossoming relationship with Professor Nick Miller might be the source of jealousy that is driving the crime spree, Aurora must be especially careful not to become the next victim.”

Will Aurora be able to find and stop the jealous creep before it’s too late?
