‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Very Foul Play’ Hallmark Movie: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
There’s only one new “Aurora Teagarden” movie left of 2019, and it’s airing on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Sunday night.
In “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Very Foul Play,” Candace Cameron Bure is once again back as the titular sleuthing character. This time around, a murder mystery play turns into a real crime scene when an actual murder takes place. With Aurora’s nephew as the main suspect, she’ll have to work hard to clear his name.
According to Hallmark’s synopsis, “While attending a weekend confab of murder mystery and true crime fans, Aurora (Bure) and her Real Murders Club pals agree to appear in the stage production of a fun murder mystery.
“However, when a very real murder is committed on stage in front of everyone during an unplanned blackout, Aurora’s nephew Phillip (Dylan Sloane) becomes the prime suspect when the lights come back up and he is found holding the murder weapon, a bloody knife.”
Directed by Martin Wood and with a teleplay by Teena Booth and Michael Vickerman, “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Very Foul Play” also stars Niall Matter (Nick), Marilu Henner (Aida), Lexa Doig (Sally Allison), Peter Benson (Arthur), Kirsten Robek (Linda Bennett), Miranda Frigon (Lynn Smith), Brenna O’Brien (Monica Swanson), Tom Stevens (Brett Stauberg), Aaron Douglas (Boyd), Ellie Harvie (Lillian), John Emmet Tracy (Andrew Wakefield) and Matthew Dowden (Robert Brown) in its cast.
