It looks like it’s safe to say Austin Mahone is the reason Becky G (Gomez) is singing in the shower! That’s right, the “Mmm Yeah” singer and the rising artist confirmed their highly speculated romance when they were spotted locking lips at an airport in Miami on Tuesday.

E! Online reported the exciting news, stating that before the 18-year-old “Shower” singer entered the terminal to board her flight, her 19-year-old hunk of a boyfriend gave her a sweet smooch, proving that the two performers were way more than just friends.

But we can’t exactly say that their red carpet romance surprises us -- especially because the duo has been teasing fans with their apparent relationship for quite some time! A few days following Mahone’s 19th birthday on Saturday, Gomez posted a steamy photo of them getting cozy together in a hot tub on a yacht.

However, despite all the eyebrow-raising photos posted by the talented twosome, Becky G stuck to the story that she and her tour buddy had nothing but a platonic relationship. In April 2014, she addressed the dating rumors that surrounded them during an interview with ABC News.

“It’s weird because these people don’t know you,” she said of the gossip. “So you’re like, ‘Where do you come up with that?’” But Gomez wasn’t too concerned with the loose lips of fans, claiming that the chatter wasn’t “a big deal.”

“At the end of the day you know the truth. But Austin’s ‘Mahomie’ for real. He’s just a really great guy and I’m really lucky to be working with him -- I’m really honored," she said. "But were just friends. And you can really get the truth from me and when I say it, I mean it.”

This isn't the first time Mahone has been romantically linked to a starlet. The "Say Something" singer previously dated Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello before the two broke things off last year. "She's an amazing girl,” he told Teen Vogue following their split. “We have the best time together."
