The “Avengers 4” trailer is pretty much the most highly-anticipated trailer of the year at this point, but it seems Marvel Studios will finally release the promo video this week.

The “Avengers 4” trailer will premiere Wednesday morning, according to SuperBroMovies’ Daniel RPK. MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad has said that the source is legit.

Fandango’s Erik Davis posted a teasing tweet after the “Captain Marvel” trailer announcement that has fans speculating he is hinting at the “Avengers 4” trailer release. Similarly, Peter Sciretta from /Film also tweeted that “the rumblings seem to be true” without directly naming “Avengers 4.”

In addition, Disney’s president of marketing, Asad Ayaz, liked a tweet from Captain Marvel News that said, “#CaptainMarvel tomorrow and #Avengers4 on Wednesday. THANK YOU MARVEL.”

A Dec. 5 release date for the trailer would line up perfectly with the “Avengers 4 Prelude” comic. The first of three prelude comics, which typically just recap the previous movie, will drop on Wednesday.

Marvel, of course, has yet to confirm the trailer release date. They did, however, officially announce a new “Captain Marvel” trailer will debut during Monday Night Football on ESPN. If Marvel continues to use other Disney-owned properties to debut their trailers, it seems likely that “Avengers 4” trailer will debut on “Good Morning America.”

Fans expected the clip to be released last week. The first “Avengers: Infinity War” commercial debuted on Nov. 29, 2017, and fans were sure that a Nov. 28 screening of the movie followed by a Q&A session with directors Joe and Anthony Russo would serve as the premiere for the sequel trailer. However, last week came and went without any new footage.

With any luck, the trailer will be released Wednesday along with a title. “Avengers: Annihilation” is currently the favorite rumor, but there are plenty of other possibilities.

“Avengers 4” hits theaters May 3, 2019.
