A second trailer for director Joss Whedon's new film, The Avengers has hit the Internet and it looks like a destructive hell of a ride. The two and a half minute clip is jam packed with chaos in the streets, sassy banter, lots of fire, and of course super heroes.

According to IMDB, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and S.H.I.E.L.D., the Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-Enforcement Division, bring together a team of super humans to form the Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his army.

The Avengers, which hits box offices on May 4, stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/ Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Dr. Bruce Banner/ Hulk, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/ Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/ Hawkeye, and Chris Hemsworth as the hammer wielding Thor.
