Whitney Way Thore, the star of TLC’s unscripted series “My Big Fat Fabulous Life,” was shocked to find out her mother, Babs, was rushed to the hospital. Even though she’s OK now, Babs’ medical emergency will air on Tuesday night’s episode.

Thore was worried when her father didn’t show up to her house when he was slated to. When neither of her parents answered their phone, she drove to their house, only to find they were not there. Needless to say, it didn’t ease her anxiety about her parents’ well-being.

“When I get to the house, my dad's car isn't there where it's normally parked, so I just know something's wrong,” Thore told the cameras in an exclusive clip, which was obtained by Us Weekly Tuesday. “When I get in the house, there's nobody there, and it's obvious they were in the house this morning. … I'm starting to feel a sense of dread. Like, I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that something's just wrong.”

Ultimately, Thore’s worrying wasn’t in vain. Her mother suffered a stroke and some seizures. She was rushed to the emergency room.

In January, when the medical scare happened, Thore updated her fans about Babs’ condition. “Thank you for all the prayers, good vibes and well wishes!” the 32-year-old dancer wrote at the time. “I hope you tune in to #MyBigFatFabLife tomorrow night at 9/8c on TLC. My family is so grateful for your love and support. Babs says hi!!”

“This is undoubtedly the most traumatic thing my family has ever experienced but if anyone possesses the strength to make it through, we know it's Mom!” Thore wrote in a blog post for TLC in January. “If Babs has ever made you laugh, or cry, or cry from laughing, please keep her in your thoughts today. Any prayers, well wishes and good vibes are welcome! My mother has so enjoyed coming into your living rooms each week and we'd like to keep her there! We love and appreciate each one of you!”

To find out how it all went down, don’t miss “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” when it airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
