Pharmaceutical manufacturer Perrigo (PRGO) has announced a recall of 23,388 containers of baby formula sold exclusively at Walmart due to the "potential presence of metal foreign matter."

The product is Parent's Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder With Iron. The containers are 35 ounces and contain 992 grams of the product.

The package has the Lot Code of C26EVFV and a "use by date" of Feb. 26, 2021.

Any consumers who have the product should immediately stop using it and instead go back to Walmart, where they should be able to get a refund.

Consumers who have questions about the product should call Perrigo Consumer Affairs at 866-629-6181.

This isn't the first time Perrigo has had to recall its products. CNN reported that in December, the company had to recall its infant ibuprofen pain reliever, due to too much ibuprofen being in the product. The product was sold at CVS, Family Dollar and Walmart.

In January 2016, the company recalled its children's cough cherry and grape liquid due to incorrect dose markings on the dosage cup with the product.

According to its website, Perrigo was founded in 1887 by Luther Perrigo in rural Michigan. The company considers itself a "leading provider of over-the-counter health and wellness solutions that enhance well-being by empowering customers to proactively prevent or treat conditions that can be self-managed."
