The current season of The Bachelor is down to the final four contestants who will continue to vie for Ben Flajnik's heart -- while he vies for parental approval -- during the show's Hometown episode, which airs Monday night at 8 p.m. EST.

Courtney, Kacie, Lindzi, and Nicki will all get to take Flajnik home to meet their families.

For those just tuning in, a quick recap of who's who: Courtney is a 28-year-old model from Scottsdale, Arizona. Kacie is a 24-year-old administrative assistant from Clarksville, Tennessee. Lindzi is a 27-year-old business development manager from Ocala, Florida. And Nicki is a 26-year-old dental hygienist from Hurst, Texas.

Oh, and Courtney doesn't exactly have a huge fanbase. Flajnik's decision to keep her around does not sit well with fans or other contestants, as they see her as duplicitous.

But Flajnik has remained undeterred by other people's opinions -- even though more than one contestant has voiced her concern.

My feelings for Courtney are strong and I don't want to let external forces get in the way, Flajnik wrote on his People blog last week.

A sneak peek of Monday night's episode suggests that Flajnik might be getting lukewarm reviews from some of the parental units, who are warning their own offspring.

You're only seeing one side of him, one mother told her daughter.

I want to protect you forever, one concerned dad admitted.

The 28-year-old winemaking bachelor from Sonoma, California seems to be optimistic about the family visits.

I love the women I have here and I have a really good feeling about it, Flajnik said in the sneak peek. Family is super important to me and I need a parent's approval if I'm going to go through with this.

The show's host, Chris Harrison, told TVGuide.com that this week's episode will shake things up a bit.

The pecking order changes after hometown dates, more so on this season than in the past, he said. That week changes everything.
