As a new season of “The Bachelorette” begins, viewers may be wondering about the most recent pair, “The Bachelor” Season 23 lead Colton Underwood and his winner, Cassie Randolph. Fans of the ABC series will be happy to hear the couple is still together and thriving, despite rumors following their season finale that they were “faking it for fame.”

While they’re still happily an item, Cassie and Colton recent admitted to OK! Magazine in their May 13 print issue that they do not live together, despite being in the same city.

“I don’t think you realize how many important steps you miss in the Bachelor process,” Cassie explained of their decision. “I think us going against what other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples have done is probably going to work out in our favor.”

Colton appears to be on the same page, saying they’re trying to do everything as “normally” as possible. “Living our separate lives but still coming together at the end of the day is what’s most important for us and what’s the right step for where we’re at in our relationship,” he explained.

While they’re not moving forward with marriage just, she did say she and Colton and discussed the next step. “We definitely talk about our future engagement,” Colton said.

And, apparently, it’s not just fans who want Colton and Cassie to one day say “I Do.” Speaking to Us Weekly for their May 6 issue, fellow “Bachelor” alum Ben Higgins said he has high hopes for the relationship.

“It wasn’t the traditional way that relationships play out, but Colton is head over heels for Cassie and she is for him,” he said. “That will hopefully be a love story that can tell forever.”
