‘The Bachelor’ Season 21 First Look: Nick Viall Makes His Debut In Halloween-Themed Teaser Clip

Nick Viall is just about ready to embark on yet another journey toward finding love on Season 21 of “The Bachelor.”

Dating on television for a third time will no doubt be scary, but hardly as frightening as the first official teaser for the upcoming season. The Halloween-themed clip opens with thunder, lightening and Nick standing before the camera. As the video, released by E! Online, pans up from his feet to his smiling face, a chilling scream is let out. A voice over warns “The Bachelor” viewers that “the next scream you hear may be your own.”

“The Bachelor” fans will have to wait several months to find out for sure if Nick finds love on the ABC series, but multiple reports have surfaced claiming that filming has been a little rocky. On Oct. 11, Us Weekly broke the news that someone from “The Bachelor” star’s past had been cast as one of Nick’s potential suitors. Sources claimed he and the mystery woman — later identified by Reality Steve as Elizabeth Sandoz — met at a wedding. They hooked up and never spoke again. Us reported that neither Nick nor Elizabeth acknowledged their brief fling during filming, though it seems likely that it will come up in time. At the time, insiders claimed that Nick was adamant with producers about not wanting anyone he’s previously known and/or dated on the show. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native felt doing so would be “a waste.”

“During the first day of taping all the girls came out, and he actually had slept with one of them at a wedding and never called her again,” a source told Us.

Reality Steve dug up several important details about Elizabeth’s past and even some speculation about when and where she and Nick met. The Season 21 participant is a 29-year-old Nebraska native who currently resides in Las Vegas and is close with Jade Roper, who appeared on a previous season of “The Bachelor.” The pair are so close, in fact, that Elizabeth was a part of Jade’s wedding party. Nick was also present when Jade and now-husband Tanner Tolbert exchanged their I dos. The blogger specualted that this is likely the wedding where hooked up. Elizabeth is said to have told a fellow contestant about her one night stand.

Stories began cropping up about Nick, Elizabeth and the many other women he’s dating on Season 21 of “The Bachelor” after they were seen filming dates and other group activities for the dating series. On Oct. 8, Nick was seen enjoying some alone time with contestant Raven Gates at Skateland in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Photos from their outings were later shared on Twitter by both Reality Steve and producer Mike Fleiss.
