"The Bachelor" Season 25 is over, and Bri Springs wants her fans to know about her life after the show.
Springs, who was sent home during last week's episode of "The Bachelor" Season 25, took to Instagram Sunday to share that her life has been full of wonderful surprises since participating in Matt James' season of the dating show.
Though she posted photos of herself having a good time at California's Manhattan Beach, the 25-year-old communications manager admitted to facing some difficulties as well in her world after the ABC show.
"Life after the show has been full of wonderful surprises. But it has also been mentally draining and there have been times and situations where I've felt defeated," Springs said.
Addressing her fans, she continued, "I've read all of your messages and you have no idea how appreciative I am of your kindness and support. Your words have helped me along the way, so thank you."
"Remember to check in with yourself from time to time to see what you need," I made a commitment to myself, to be honest, and stay true to who I am. And this means being present with the ones I love," Springs wrote.
While she didn't emerge as the winner of the show, Springs was a fan favorite throughout the season.
Meanwhile, Rachael Kirkconnell was eventually given the final rose on Monday's episode of "The Bachelor" Season 25, which featured the franchise’s first-ever Black lead in its 19-year history.
"The Bachelor" Season 25 is considered to be one of the most controversial runs of the show due to the drama that happened behind the scenes. A TikTok user had accused Kirkconnell of bullying her for dating Black men. Another TikTok user accused her of liking racist photos.
On Feb. 2, James defended Kirkconnell during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"I have not spoken to anybody since the show ended, but I would say that you have to be really careful about what you are doing on social media," James said.
"Rumors are dark and nasty and can ruin people's lives. So I would give people the benefit of the doubt, and hopefully she will have her time to speak on that," he added.
But later, photos of Kirkconnell emerged that made the situation more complicated. The photos that date back to 2018 showed Kirkconnell wearing an antebellum-style plantation dress at a party that she attended when she was a student at Georgia College & State University. The graphic designer, 24, has since apologized.
