‘Bachelor’ Stars Juan Pablo Galavis And Nikki Ferrell Reportedly To Appear On ‘Couples Therapy’
“The Bachelor” stars Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell may not have wanted to open up about their relationship to Chris Harrison on “The Bachelor: After The Final Rose” … but the controversial couple are reportedly going to spill all on VH1’s “Couples Therapy.”
E! News is reporting that Juan Pablo and his “Catira” (blonde) will be seeking relationship counseling from Dr. Jenn Berman when Season 5 of “Couples Therapy” premieres in September. While “The Bachelor” stars were left off the official cast list, an insider told E! that the pair are confirmed.
“It’s true, they’re doing it,” said the source, who revealed that they began filming two days ago. “The reason it wasn’t put in the press release is due to Juan Pablo’s deal with ABC. It’s not up until August, so, contractually, it can’t be mentioned until then.”
“Bachelor” fans will remember that Juan Pablo’s season came to a close with him being forced to choose between Clare and Nikki. The 32-year-old dad ultimately ended up breaking things off with Clare (who made sure to give him a piece of her mind) and choosing Nikki. But despite having a Neil Lane ring in his pocket, Juan Pablo decided to simply present Nikki with a rose and a proposal to be his girlfriend … not fiancé.
Things got awkward during the “After The Final Rose” special when Juan Pablo refused to say “I love you” to Nikki. Instead of speaking freely about his relationship, he refused to answer any questions and accused the show of “boxing with him” throughout the season.
“We’re very happy we’re starting our relationship right now,” Juan Pablo said at the time. “We are done with the show, so done with the show.”
If Juan Pablo and Nikki do join the show they will be joining confirmed couples: Jenna Jameson and John Wood, “Evil Dick Donato of “Big Brother” and Stephanie Rogness-Fischer, Naughty by Nature’s Anthony “Treach” Criss and Cicely Evans, and former “Jersey Shore” star Deena Cortese and Chris Buckner.
You can catch VH1’s “Couples Therapy” beginning Sept. 10. Would you watch Juan Pablo and Nikki? Let us know in the comments section or send a tweet to @AmandaTVScoop.
