Remember Juan Pablo Galavis? The single dad from Venezuela was a contestant in the 2013 season of “The Bachelorette” and starred in the 2014 season of “The Bachelor,” becoming one of the most controversial contestants in the history of the ABC franchise. He’s been the butt of jokes from host Chris Harrison, and even landed the unofficial title of “worst Bachelor ever.” But despite all that, the 35-year-old former professional soccer player may be interested in returning for a third chance at love.

Juan Pablo took to Twitter to share his opinion on the next “Bachelorette,” and revealed that he “might” sign up for the opportunity to date JoJo Fletcher.

Juan Pablo even responded to a joke from one of his followers. The Twitter user said that if Juan Pablo joined the season, then at least fans would know he meant it if he told JoJo that he loved her. Juan Pablo infamously refused to tell Chris Harrison that he was in love with his season winner, Nikki Ferrell. By contrast, the most recent “Bachelor” star, Ben Higgins, told both of his final two contestants, JoJo and Lauren Bushnell, that he loved them, then dumped JoJo in the finale.

But “The Bachelor” franchise would never let Juan Pablo return again ... right? Anything is possible on the dating reality show. Creator Mike Fleiss responded to the report that Juan Pablo might be interested in joining Season 12 of “The Bachelorette.” However, filming is already underway. Fleiss tweeted about night one on Wednesday, revealing that JoJo was “amazing” with her batch of guys.

For those unfamiliar with Juan Pablo, he first turned heads on Desiree Hartsock’s season of “The Bachelorette.” He didn’t make it far in the competition, but he won over the hearts of viewers. He was named the Season 18 star of “The Bachelor,” which is where things started to go downhill.

Contestant Andi Dorfman ended up dropping out of the show after her fantasy suite date with Juan Pablo. She accused him of telling her that she was there by “default” and not knowing anything about her. Runner-up Clare Crawley also had issues with him after he said something “offensive” to her during their final date. But the icing on the cake was Juan Pablo and Nikki’s super awkward “After the Final Rose” interview in March 2014. He refused to answer some of Harrison’s questions regarding Nikki, and accused the production of “boxing” with him.

Juan Pablo and Nikki ultimately broke up in October 2014, less than a year after going public with their relationship. Nikki later revealed to Harrison that their split was a result of living different lifestyles.
