It turns out Jed Wyatt may not be the only “The Bachelorette” contestant with a questionable past. Ahead of Monday’s episode of the ABC series, which saw Season 15 lead Hannah Brown take her final four on overnight fantasy suite dates, it has been revealed that finalist Peter Weber allegedly had a serious girlfriend right before filming the 2019 installment.

ET Online reports that Peter, the 27-year-old pilot from Westlake, California, was in a relationship with a woman for five months before breaking things off “suddenly” in December 2018, three months before filming for the show began. So, who is the woman in question? Meet Calee Lutes. According to her Instagram bio, she is an professional model based in Atlanta.

Lutes told ET that she and Weber were in a long-distance relationship after meeting on an app in June 2018. Despite living far apart, Lutes said the two will meet up frequently and vacationed together. Lutes claims she and Weber were “crazy about each other” and had plans to move in together in Los Angeles.

“I was open to moving out there for a year or so, to give our relationship a fair chance, but he told me he didn’t want me out there temporarily... he wanted me out there ‘forever,’” she told the outlet.

The model stated she and the reality star met each other’s families and discussed how they would make their relationship “last long term,” as well as having kids and the logistics of settling in California. “We talked about all of this right up until he broke up with me,” she shared.

Lutes said their “serious” relationship came to an abrupt end two days before last Christmas with a FaceTime call. Weber reportedly didn’t offer an explanation for the split and left her confused with his urgency to end their romance. Post-breakup, Lutes claims Weber deleted “every trace” of her on Instagram, though her Instagram page still has him tagged in at least one picture.

Filming on Hannah’s “The Bachelorette” season began in March. Lutes said she and Weber spoke post breakup but that he never informed her of his “The Bachelorette” casting. She learned of Weber's role on the show along with the rest of the world, when the cast list was released online.

“He absolutely betrayed me. He interviewed for a reality dating show while simultaneously planning a future with me. I trusted him entirely and he pulled the rug out from under me. Also, if all of this wasn't bad enough, I've had multiple people reach out to me and tell me that he was seeing other women while we were exclusive,” Lutes said.

Lutes said watching this season, Weber has acted “very similar” to Hannah as he did with her. While she understands why he’s a fan favorite with viewers, she claims it’s all an act. “He definitely didn't go on the show for the right reasons. I believe he went on it for the chance at fame, and he got what he wanted.”

Weber is the second of Hannah’s finalists to have an ex speak out. In June, Haley Stevens, a Nashville-based performer, admitted to being in a relationship with Jed, who is also competing on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette,” during filming. Stevens claims Jed informed he was only going on the show to boost his music career but “ghosted” her after production wrapped.

“The Bachelorette” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
