‘The Bachelorette’ Contestant Jordan Rodgers Speaks Out Amid Accusations He’s Dating Outside The Show
Things are heating up on “The Bachelorette.” Eight men are left vying for the affection of JoJo Fletcher, but it seems some cast members may be playing the field outside of the show.
Season 12 contestant Jordan Rodgers took to Twitter Wednesday to set the record straight about his dating site activity. The former football player said rumors that he was still using a site called Raya were “completely false.” He even went as far as to provide a timeline of his dating site use, revealing that the profile was inactive once he started filming the ABC show and was deactivated when he finished filming several months later. Rodgers then shared a long, angry statement addressing the rumors once more. He explained the unusual way he landed a spot on the show and included a further explanation of why it appeared he was still using the dating service.
Despite the accusations, Jordan remains a contender for JoJo’s heart. In fact, there has been some speculation that he may make it to the final two. A sneak preview for the finale episode shows JoJo breaking down while trying to choose her Prince Charming. While the final two contestants are not shown, a comment made by the “Bachelorette” star suggests that she may be leaning toward Jordan — though it seems something is preventing her from moving forward with the relationship.
“I fell in love with you,” she says. “And I still love you, but what you did to me ... it’s not right. But I wanted you to know it’s really hard for me not to accept this love.”
JoJo and Jordan have had issues in the past. During the most recent episode, she confronted him about a previous relationship after talking to one of his former girlfriends. The ex love interest told JoJo that there was a lack of trust in their relationship, which prompted JoJo to question whether Jordan had been unfaithful. He denied cheating, claiming their issue was the during that particular relationship his career was his main priority.
