‘Bachelorette’ Star Jordan Rodgers Reveals The Truth About His Relationship With NFL Pro Brother Aaron Rodgers
Jordan Rodgers is telling all! “The Bachelorette” contestant opened up to star JoJo Fletcher during episode 7 Monday night, revealing that he doesn’t have the greatest relationship with his NFL pro football brother, Aaron Rodgers.
The 27-year-old former athlete has been a frontrunner on the ABC reality series since night one. JoJo has forged a strong connection with him. However, she’s also had doubts about him. Jordan tried to squash any fears that the 25-year-old real estate developer might have while on a one-on-one date in the Argentina countryside. He confessed that he was in love with her, and revealed that he was excited to introduce her to his family — something that he hasn’t done with many girls in the past.
Jordan’s bold statement touched JoJo. But she also became concerned when he revealed that one important family member was not going to be present during hometown dates.
“My middle brother won’t be there,” Jordan said, referring to 32-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “I have a great relationship with my brother Luke. [Aaron and I] don’t really have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life. And I chose to stay close to my family and my parents and my brother. It’s not ideal. And I love him. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has, the demands from people that he has. I don’t have hard feelings against him. It’s just how things go right now.”
Jordan added that he didn’t even tell Aaron that he was joining “The Bachelorette” to find love.
“So, you guys don’t talk at all?” JoJo grilled him.
“Not really,” Aaron confirmed. “It’s OK.”
But a promo video for next week’s installment reveals that everything might not be OK in the Rodgers household. In a sneak peek look, JoJo tells the cameras that she didn’t realize how “deep” the “wound” is between Jordan and Aaron.
“It’s something we really don’t talk about a lot,” Jordan’s brother Luke admits.
Watch more of the drama involving Jordan and Aaron Rodgers when “The Bachelorette” episode 8 airs on ABC Monday, July 18 at 8 p.m. EDT.
