Bachmann Calls for Occupancy Adjustment in White House
The Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann said Friday that America needs a major adjustment in the occupancy of the White House and slammed Obama's economic policies as failures.
I know we can ensure Obama is a one-term president, said Bachmann. As president, I will have the courage to make the hard decisions to make dramatic cuts in spending rather than extending our credit once again. The President says he wants to fix the economy for a 'decade.' I want to fix it for the next generation and never again have a debate about raising the debt limit.
The feisty Minnesota Republican used the approaching Labor Day holiday to call attention to the county's economic malaise, high unemployment and weak factory reports.
It has been just over 70 days since we announced our campaign for president, and the days have flown by. Although the seasons and months may be changing, one thing remains certain in the United States: Americans are tired of President Obama's failed leadership and policies, she said.
Bachmann is scheduled to go head to head with her Republican opponents on Sept. 7 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.
It's hard to believe that September is already upon us, Bachmann said. I encourage you to watch the debates as I discuss with the other candidates how I will create jobs, turn our economy around and take your voice to the White House as president.
