Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Asks Devon Sawa To Act In Movie Via Twitter
On Saturday night, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter sent out a tweet that would set aflutter the heart of any girl who was a teen in the 1990s: Yo @DevonESawa would you act in a movie that I am producing?
While the project that Nick Carter is producing is a mystery, and Devon Sawa has yet to respond since it was only tweeted about an hour or ago, fans seem to be excited as the post has been retweeted and marked as a favorite numerous times.
Devon Sawa, who was born on Sept. 7, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia, became a teen heartthrob a little more than 15 years ago.
In 1995, Sawa took to the big screen when he played alongside Christina Ricci as the living version of Casper in Casper. That same year, fans saw him act with Christina Ricci again as Scott Wormer in the film Now and Then.
In 2000, Sawa starred in the fatal thriller Final Destination as Alex Browning. His role in the Final Destination film lead Dr. Dre to cast him as the part of Stan in the Eminem video of the same name.
Most recently, Sawa can be found on the CW series Nikita as Owen Elliot.
Nick Carter was also a teen heartthrob during the 1990s as one of the five members of the boy band, the Backstreet Boys. Born on Jan. 28, 1980, in Jamestown, N.Y., Carter went on to be named one of the 21 Hottest Stars Under 21 in 1999, and voted Sexiest Man of The World by CosmoGirl.
The Backstreet Boys recently reunited and are currently on tour.
