'Bad Decision': Here's When BTS' Collaboration Track With Snoop Dogg, Benny Blanco Will Release
The wait is finally over as BTS fans can soon tune into the group's highly-anticipated collaboration song with Snoop Dogg and Benny Blanco. The video, titled "Bad Decision," will release next month.
Blanco revealed the news in a funny video Wednesday, which was shared by the boy band's official Twitter page.
In the video, the music producer jokingly asked Jungkook, Jin, Jimin and V if he could join the band.
"What up, guys. Look, I know we haven't known each other that long but I want to be in the band. I want to be in the band — I want to sing and dance. I think I could do it," he said during a video call.
The BTS members said "no" in unison, but Jimin added, "But we can make a song together."
Blanco excitedly replied, "Let's make the best song in the entire world. Let's go!"
He later described his emotions regarding the release of the collaborative track in a statement: "I'm still pinching myself. I can't believe I have a song coming out with Jin, Jimin, V and Jung Kook of BTS and Snoop Dogg. It doesn't even feel real!"
The 34-year-old record producer and songwriter also tweeted the release schedule of the track. The first music trailer of "Bad Decision" will be out on Aug. 3 and it will be followed by a second trailer on Aug. 4. The song will release on Blanco's YouTube page on Aug. 5.
"It's all happening," Blanco wrote.
Snoop Dogg gave an update about the collaborative track in an interview during the premiere of the "American Song Contest" in April.
"You gotta talk to them but my parts are in," he said at the time.
Blanco also hinted at the collaboration project Tuesday when he tweeted a clip showing him on a video call with artist manager Scooter Braun and BTS producer and HYBE corporation founder Bang Si-Hyuk.
"I know you guys are super busy. I just want to let you know that, ever since you guys brought me to that BTS concert, I can't stop thinking about the group. I'm dancing, I've been singing, and I just think I could be in the band," Blanco joked.
Blanco had previously collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber. The upcoming track will be part of Blanco's third album, which is scheduled to release later this year.
