With the non-waiver deadline approaching in Major League Baseball, the Baltimore Orioles are looking to add a pitcher -- either a starter or a reliever, according to team general manager Dan Duquette. "We're still working with a couple of teams and hopefully it will come together," Duquette told Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. "We have a couple more days."

In the same interview, Duquette mentioned that the team’s pitching staff needs to be improved. Meanwhile, the Orioles have designated outfielder Delmon Young for assignment and may trade him for the reliever or starting pitcher they seek.

Baltimore is in second place in the East Division of the American League, with 43 wins against 41 losses.
