Baltimore Ravens Will Be Heavy Favorites In 2020 AFC Divisional Playoffs, Own Best Super Bowl Odds
The Baltimore Ravens were clearly the NFL’s best team during the regular season, leading the league with a 14-2 record and ending the year on a 12-game winning streak. The AFC North champions have a bye on Wild-Card Weekend, and they will be heavy favorites in their first playoff game.
Depending on what happens Saturday, it’ll be the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills or Tennessee Titans visiting Baltimore in the divisional round. All three teams would be considered unlikely to advance to the AFC Championship Game.
Houston is the highest seed of the possible opponents, but you can be sure that they won’t be given a very good chance to beat the Ravens. The Texans have already visited Baltimore, losing 41-7 in Week 11. The Ravens were favored by four points.
Baltimore was favored by 6.5 points when they visited Buffalo in Week 14. The Ravens won on the road 24-17, leading the entire game.
If Baltimore was laying close to a touchdown in Buffalo, that means the betting line would have been in double digits had the Ravens played that game at home.
The Texans are 2.5-point favorites at home over the Bills in their wild-card game, according to OddsShark.
The Titans and Ravens didn’t meet in the regular season. Tennessee is a 4.5-point underdog on the road against the New England Patriots on Wild-Card Weekend.
Since Baltimore would be the clear favorite at home over New England, the Ravens might lay more than 10 points over the Titans.
When the Ravens played their last meaningful home game in Week 15 against the New York Jets, Baltimore was a 17-point favorite at kickoff. In a Week 16 road game against the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens were 10-point favorites.
Baltimore is the Super Bowl favorite with +220 odds at both FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbook.
