Shoppers take the stairs at Barneys New York, the anchor tenant in the retail area of the $1.9 billion Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada January 18, 2008. The new store is the seventh Barneys flagship store and covers almost 90,000 sq. ft. of space. The Palazzo and Venetian complex will represent the world's largest integrated destination resort, with 7,128 hotel rooms and 2.3 million square feet of meeting, convention and exhibition space. New York City-based luxury retailer, Barneys New York, will now ship internationally from its website Barneys.com. The site will now ship products to 90 countries including Canada, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Austrailia and China.

Currently, the company only ships to customers in the U.S. but with the launch of international shipping, customers around the globe will be able to shop the same way domestic customers do.

Barneys has always been a destination for International tourists and it is a natural step to offer our web services to the rest of the world. Barneys has incredible global brand recognition, but we could only service here in the US. International shipping has fundamentally changed that reach, Daniella Vitale, Chief Merchant and Executive Vice-President of Barneys New York said.

Barneys has partnered with FiftyOne Global Ecommerce to ensure a smooth transition into international shipping. FiftyOne works with U.S. retailers in carrying out transactions in over 90 countries.
