Baron Davis Hair Cut Photos: Twitter Rips Player For Jheri Curl; Athlete Responds [MEMES]

Former New York Knicks player Baron Davis might have appeared Monday on ESPN’s First Take to talk about basketball, but all Twitter users could talk about was his hair. The athlete sported a ‘do that was much changed from his days on the court. Instead of responding to what Davis, 36, had to say, Twitter users mocked his Jheri curls, and dozens of memes arose.

Davis wasn’t embarrassed by the attention. Instead, he posted “how serious” he was. “The Curl just went national ... Yall better recognize #morningcurl,” he wrote Monday. He also shared an Instagram video from a month ago that showed him at the salon. “It’s hot as hell under here, man” he said in the clip. “My scalp is burning. But it’s gonna be worth it.”
