Is Barron Trump An Arsenal Fan? President’s Youngest Son Spotted In Soccer Team’s Outfit At White House
President Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump is a fan of soccer and seemingly supports Arsenal, according to a photo posted on Twitter. In the picture, Barron is seen wearing a full Arsenal kit and playing soccer at the White House.
Twitter user Dana McKay posted the photo of Barron Tuesday. Following this, other users of the micro-blogging website began noticing that the 11-year-old was in fact in Arsenal uniform, which led many to believe that he is a supporter of the club.
Moreover, according to the Washington Post’s report soccer club D.C. United players and its mascot Talong made an appearance at the White House and some of them met Barron in an unscheduled invitation. The D.C. United team was invited for the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House.
The team’s forward Patrick Mullins and midfielders Julian Buescher and Marcelo Sarvas discussed soccer with the child. The D.C. United also gave him a black-and-red ball, signed by the players and a message welcoming him to Washington, D.C.
“He was very knowledgeable about soccer, knew about D.C. United and was interested to know more,” Mullins said of Barron, according to the Post. “Little kid to have a passion for the game and to be knowledgeable and have a conversation with us, it makes me feel good about kids growing up playing the game.”
Separately, Barron and his mother Melania Trump are reported to be moving to the White House this summer. The mother-son duo stayed back in New York City to complete Barron’s academic year there.
“The fact she was protecting [Barron] before this, by letting him finish out his school year, is not unprecedented,” White House historian Andrew Och said, according to Fox News. “It is just a little bit unusual that they didn't move into the White House immediately after the inauguration.”
“Melania Trump bringing and unifying her family under one roof of the White House is a very smart move, and a very traditional move,” Och added.
