Barron Trump’s Health A Top Concern For Twitter Users After Trump’s Coronavirus Diagnosis
[Update, Oct. 2, 2020 10:40 a.m.]: The First Lady's Chief of Staff, Stephanie Grisham, has confirmed that Barron Trump tested negative for COVID-19.
Original Story:
Citizens across the United States and around the world are expressing different levels of shock over the news that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania have tested positive for COVID-19, just days after his appearance at the first Presidential debate with Joe Biden, where he mocked the Democratic nominee for often using a mask.
However, while reaction for the President ranges from those poking fun at his previous comments about the deadly virus to others wishing him a speedy recovery, others are wondering about how the diagnosis will affect other members of his family—specifically, his youngest son, Barron.
While the President’s wife and older children—Ivanka, Tiffany, Donald Jr and Eric—were all present at Tuesday’s debate, Barron, who is a teenager, was not. The President’s youngest child has actually not been seen since his appearance at the Republican National Convention, where many noted the growth spurt he seemed to have since his father was first elected. Now, with news that his parents are both positive for the virus that has killed over 200,000 Americans, many are wondering about his health, leading to his name on trending on social media Friday morning.
Several users took to Twitter to share general concerns about the First Son’s health and whether he was somewhere safe, being cared for by someone while his parents were in quarantine.
Look I realize this is very education reporter of me but like, where is Barron? Will Barron be quarantining? Is Barron doing remote schooling? This all has just brought up a lot of questions for me about the child!

Who is taking care of Barron? Has he been tested?

We have concerns for Barron and the grandchildren who all have been exposed because their parents and grandparents refuse to wear masks at every place they have been. Contact tracing for 2 weeks leaves a lot of people exposed.

Or his wife.... And is Barron OK?

However, it didn’t take long for others to note that Barron was likely safe, since he is rarely ever seen with his parents anyway, so they couldn’t have possibly infected him.
Barron is the safest of them all - none of his parents even see him. Be best ‘non parents’

Barron is probably safe because his parents spend very little time with him.

Others also questioned whether the news of the President and First Lady’s diagnosis wasn’t some sort of “October Surprise,” a phenom that seems to emerge late during an election year, just weeks before voters take to the polls in November, with something happening which has the potential to alter the course of the race. After 2016 saw both surprises of the infamous “Access Hollywood” hot mike incident for Trump and the announcement that a new inquiry was being done on Hillary Clinton’s emails, some are now wondering if the diagnosis is fake—and have questioned that if it is real, why Barron has not been reported as having been tested.
My initial response is they are lying. But uh..did they test Barron?

They didn't bother to test or report on Barron? This isn't fishy at all. I know Trump couldn't pick him out of line up. But his mother must visit his quarters once in awhile. Who they kidding he doesn't live there?
