‘Basketball Wives’ Star Evelyn Lozada Hints Tami Roman Feels Threatened After Jackie Christie Drama

After the Monday night episode of “Basketball Wives,” Season 6 cast members Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman decided to speak out on the drama that transpired on episode 2. Once the episode aired, Tami took to her Instagram account to explain what really went on in when it seemed like she intentionally tried to turn Jackie Christie against Evelyn.

“To be clear Jackie Christie called ME and had a lot to say - despicable mother came from her and I repeated it,” she began her lengthy Instagram post.

On the episode, it looked as if Tami lied and told Jackie that Evelyn called her a “despicable mother” just to stir up drama between the two because Tami doesn’t like Evelyn.

In her post, Tami went on to explain that after Evelyn donated money to Jackie’s daughter to help her son with his injuries. Tami sent Jackie Evelyn’s comment on the matter but expressed that she didn’t know if her willingness to help was genuine.

“I also told Jackie my issues with Evelyn is NOT her issue and to spend time with her and form her own opinion. Of course that was edited out,” she wrote. Tami went on to insist that her words were manipulated through editing and that she will not be portrayed as a “bad person.”

Meanwhile, on Evelyn’s Instagram account that same night, she posted a quote that may have been directed at Tami. “People love to bring up your past when they’re threatened by your present,” the quote read.

It’s no secret that Tami and Evelyn are no longer friends because Evelyn admitted to dating Tami’s ex-husband while the couple was still married. Since the “Basketball Wives” Season 6 premiere, Tami has continuously brought up Evelyn’s past with her ex-husband and other athletes.

Although Tami and Evelyn may be forced to work together to shoot this season of the VH1 series, it doesn’t look like friendship is in the cards for these ladies.
