‘Bates Motel’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Leaked Online; What Will Happen In ‘Caleb’? [PHOTOS]
“Bates Motel” has had its fair share of interesting occupants since opening, and in episode 3 it will get another – Norma’s estranged brother, Caleb. A synopsis for episode 3, “Caleb,” has leaked online, and it sounds like one that fans of the A&E “Psycho” prequel won’t want to miss.
As viewers saw in the final moments of episode 2, a strange man drove into White Pine Bay searching for the Bates Motel. And even though a mechanic told him the place had no vacancies, the mysterious figure revealed that he wasn’t looking for a place to stay. He was looking for his sister, Norma Bates.
This is the first time “Bates Motel” viewers have seen Caleb, but it certainly isn’t the first time they've heard of him. During the season 1 finale Norma came clean to Norman about the scar on her leg and her history with her brother … that he sexually abused her for years. But is that the truth?
“He has his version and she has her version,” actor Kenny Johnson previously told Entertainment Weekly. And the show will definitely explore that in episode 3. But not everyone is aware of Norma and Caleb’s history. According to a leaked synopsis, Dylan will attempt to “bridge the gap” between them when Caleb shows up at the motel.
There is no denying that Norma will be upset to see her brother reappear as she tries to start a new life, but fortunately she’ll also get some good news in episode 3. Despite failing to get the town council to cancel the plans for a new bypass, she will find a new ally to help her stop the road from being built.
Meanwhile, a memorial for a friend will lead Emma into a new relationship, and Norman once again gets sucked into trouble by a girl.
Episode 3 of “Bates Motel” will air at its new time at 10 p.m. EDT on Monday. A repeat of episode 2 will air at 9 p.m. EDT. What do you think will happen in “Caleb”? Watch the promo video and tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
