'Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice': Gal Gadot Teases Wonder Woman T-Shirt

Gal Gadot has shared a picture of her wearing a Wonder Woman t-shirt that may be a part of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” merchandise. The actress had previously described her character to be a “symbol” representing the greatness of women.

The actress shared the picture on her official Instagram page and the fans immediately took note of the Wonder Woman logo on the t-shirt. Over 30 thousand fans have “liked” the picture and have expressed their excitement in seeing Gadot play the female superhero on the big screen.

In an interview with Yahoo, Gadot said that playing the role was a “lot of responsibility” and at the same time it was a “huge opportunity” for her as an actress. She said that she would do her best to live up to the character.

She described Wonder Woman as a “huge symbol of all the greatness of a woman.” Gadot said that she was both “flattered” and humbled” to be playing the role. The actress later added that wearing the costume of the superhero was “amazing.”

Gadot has been contracted to reprise her role as Wonder Woman in at least three movies after “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The first solo movie of her character will be directed by Patty Jenkins and is currently in the preproduction phase. The filming for the solo movie is expected to begin soon.

The actress will be back again in the two part “Justice League” movies that are slated to be released in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Both the movies will be directed by Zack Snyder. Snyder is also the director of the forthcoming movie in which Gadot will first appear as Wonder Woman.

Some of the merchandise of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” that can currently be purchased from the official Warner Bros online shop are action figures of Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill). The Batman action figure is available in both the regular Batsuit as well as armored version. The Wonder Woman action figure available at the moment is from the “Justice League” animation series, with the traditional costume.
