'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice': Jeffrey Dean Morgan Talks To Jimmy Kimmel About Possible Role
Jeffrey Dean Morgan was recently asked about a leaked photo from the set of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” and about whether he will appear in the movie. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Ben Affleck will direct a new movie about the Caped Crusader.
Morgan was a guest on ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where he was asked about a possible role in the Zack Snyder-directed movie. A video posted on the YouTube channel of the TV show features a leaked photo from the movie set that includes a painting of a man who looks similar to Morgan.
“God dang, it sure looks like me, doesn’t it?” the actor told the show’s host. “It does look like you,” Kimmel confirmed. Morgan did not confirm whether or not he was in the movie and said viewers would have to go see the movie to find out. The actor is known for playing the superhero character Edward Blake in the 2009 movie “Watchmen.”
Meanwhile, Latino-Review reported that Affleck will direct a movie titled “The Batman,” set for a November 2018 release. Chris Terrio, one of the writers of “Batman v. Superman,” is said to be writing the script. Affleck reportedly will play Batman again.
Dave Trumbore of Collider confirmed the report, saying he has been hearing the same thing from his sources. Trumbore expects that San Diego Comic-Con (July 8 to 12) may be a good place for producers to make the relevant announcements.
A report by HeroicHollywood states three reasons why Affleck is a good choice to direct the film: He has become a "great leading man," he is a “fantastic director” and he is a fan of the Caped Crusader. The actor will first be seen playing the role in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which will be released March 25, 2016, in the U.S.
