‘Baywatch’ Movie Spoilers, 5 Things You May Have Missed In The Newly Released Trailer
Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, took to Twitter Thursday to share the “Baywatch” movie trailer. The almost two-minute clip features plenty of comedy and gorgeous actors, which may have distracted people from a few details that may give them further insight into what to expect from the film.
Below is a list of five things you may have missed in the “Baywatch” movie trailer:
Too many shirts
Despite working on the beach the guys are wearing shirts in a majority of the trailer. While the beginning of the clip showcases Johnson’s shirtless body along with co-star Zac Efron’s, the rest of the trailer shows the men fully clothed in tops and bottoms. At one point, The Rock even dives into the water with a shirt on. The film may not be as ab-tastic as people hoped.
Zac Efron’s scene may have been cut
In the opening of the trailer, the “Baywatch” lifeguard team are seen running side by side in slow motion down the beach however, only four members are seen and Efron is not one of them. In April, the cast was seen shooting a similar scene alongside the actor but he took an embarrassing fall mid-scene. Will he be missing from the famous slow motion run?
Priyanka Chopra
Although the “Quantico” actress is said to co-star in the film alongside Johnson as a villain, she is only in one scenes towards the end of the trailer.
The original lifeguard stand
The trailer shows Johnson approaching the lifeguard stand that looks very similar to the original one that the television cast would shoot scenes on throughout the TV series. Was the popular hangout spot restored?
Where are the guest stars?
“Baywatch” vets Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff, who played C.J. Parker and Mitch Buchannon on the show, were on the set of the film, however neither were featured in the trailer. Fans will have to wait for the movie to premiere to see just how much screen time these stars get.
“Baywatch,” which also stars Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach, is scheduled to be released in theaters May 19, 2017.
