In a similar incident that took place in the same state last week, a mother bear was reunited with her three cubs with the help of wildlife officers. The cubs had entered a dumpster in search of food and had gotten trapped inside when the lid closed on them, after which, the mother was unable to get them out and appeared to be stressed. The officers then helped the cubs climb out of the dumpster using a chair. The rescue was caught on camera and shared by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office.
In another incident last month, a huge brown bear broke into a family’s house and wandered into the living room. The act was caught on surveillance footage and was shared on Twitter by Jason Priestas, an Ohio-based radio presenter. In the video, the animal can be seen slamming the main door open before entering the living room and surveying around. The 13-second clip has since gained over 4 million views.
