The Chicago Bears (9-4) have not made the playoffs since a Jay Cutler injury doomed their chances in the NFC Championship game in 2011, but that is set to change this week. The Bears have a clear path to a playoff berth and an NFC North title, even if they do not beat the Green Bay Packers (5-7-1) on Sunday.

If the Bears beat the Packers at home, they will be NFC North division champions. It is that simple. Even if they lose, the Miami Dolphins (7-6) can do them a solid by beating the Minnesota Vikings (6-6-1). A Vikings loss would make the Bears division champs no matter what happens in the Packers game.

In the unlikely scenario that both the Bears and Vikings tie on Sunday, the Bears would still be NFC north champs.

The Bears can clinch a playoff berth, but not a division title, if their game ends in a tie. If the reeling Washington Redskins (6-7) lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-9), the Bears will also earn a playoff berth from that.

The Bears have a fast-track to the No. 3 seed in the NFC.
