Ben Affleck Allegedly ‘Regrets’ The Way He Treated Jennifer Garner; Ex-Couple Has ‘Tense’ Relationship?

Ben Affleck recently opened up about the biggest regret in his life, which was his divorce from Jennifer Garner. His candid revelation triggered more claims about his relationship with his ex-wife.

According to In Touch Weekly, Affleck also regrets the way that he treated Garner. After reflecting on the past, the “Batman v Superman” star realized that Garner has always been there for him no matter what.

The source also claimed that Affleck’s relapse at a Halloween party led to tension with the “13 Going On 30” star. At that time, a source claimed that Garner is furious with Affleck.

“She hates that Ben did it in public too, mainly because of their children, who are at ages where they hear things in school from other kids. Jen is still very supportive. There are consequences to Ben’s backsliding. Jen wants Ben at his best. Video of him stumbling around in public, that’s not it,” the source said.

But as per always, it is best to take the claims of the tabloid with a grain of salt. During his recent interview with The New York Times, Affleck didn’t say anything about regretting the way he treated his ex-wife.

Even though it’s true that the dad of three suffered a relapse last year, it is unlikely that Garner was furious at her ex-husband. Throughout their marriage and even after they divorced, Garner has been nothing but supportive of Affleck.

And after a video of Affleck stumbling was released online, the actor continued to hang out with Garner publicly. They were together on Thanksgiving, and they also celebrated Violet’s 14^th birthday as a family.

A source revealed that Affleck didn't stay at Garner's home the entire day for Violet's bash. The actor had to rush back to another city where he was filming for his upcoming movie.

Affleck and Garner didn’t get to celebrate Christmas with their kids, but it’s not because of their alleged tense relationship. Rather, it’s because of Affleck’s filming schedule for an upcoming project.

Earlier this year, the former couple reunited to watch their daughter Seraphina’s soccer game. A photo of Affleck and Garner sitting on the grass while watching their daughter made headlines a few weeks ago.

At that time, Affleck's mistakenly showed off his bum while sitting on the grass. But the actor didn't seem to mind because he continued chatting with the other parents that were also there.
