Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner have named their newborn daughter Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.

The couple, who named their first daughter Violet, has named their new addition after another blossom.

Seraphina is based on the word seraphim, which means fiery ones in Hebrew and is a type of six-winged angel in the Bible.

Affleck's spokesman, Shawn Sachs, confirmed the name on Tuesday. The Juno star gave birth to Seraphina on Jan. 6 in Los Angeles.

Garner and Affleck, both 36, were married in June 2005. Their first daughter Violet was born in December 2005.
