Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez Tell Friends They Are Back Together As A Couple: Report

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been making headlines these past few weeks as the two have been sighted together on several occasions. The couple is reportedly giving their romance a real shot and they are said to be hopeful about their relationship this time around.

The rumored lovebirds, who are famously referred to as "Bennifer," rekindled their romance recently almost 17 years after they called off their engagement.

An unnamed insider told Entertainment Tonight that Affleck and Lopez had talked about their past and discussed why things had not worked out before. According to the source, the two have also been telling their friends that they are together.

"J.Lo and Ben are very much a couple and have been telling friends that they're together. When they first reconnected, they had to see if the spark was still there because it had been a while. It was, so now they are both fully in it," the source told the publication.

"They are both hopeful about their relationship this time around and putting the effort in. They have both matured and are on the same page and it has been easy," the source said further. "Jen is elated and really trusts Ben. Ben is more traditional and low-key in his values and Jen is into that. She likes that they can go on dates and have fun. She also thinks that Ben is extremely smart and has a lot of great input."

International Business Times, however, cannot independently verify the news about the pair defining their relationship. Devoted followers of Affleck and Lopez should take these reports with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true.

Last week, an informant told People that Affleck and Lopez had already been talking about their summer plans. The pair reportedly wanted to spend as much time together as possible even if they were living on opposite coasts.

Another source told the outlet that the "Let's Get Loud" songstress was very happy to be reunited with the "Justice League" star, adding, they were both acting comfortably in their rekindled romance.

Affleck and Lopez spent time together in Los Angeles following the singer's split from Alex Rodriguez in April, tipsters told Page Six.

Moreover, the former husband of Jennifer Garner has been seen several times going to the "On the Floor" hitmaker's home in California. According to another informant, the security picks up Affleck at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at Lopez's abode.

Recent reports suggested that Lopez might move in with Affleck after the American singer-dancer was seen visiting at least one school in Los Angeles. TMZ speculated that it could be a sign that the songstress was already scouting new schools for her twins, Emme and Max, as part of the plan to reunite their families.

Both Affleck and Lopez are yet to comment on these claims.
