Ben Affleck recently denied being told by Rose McGowan that Harvey Weinstein attacked her years ago.

During an interview with the Daily Mail, the “Justice League” star reiterated his stand on the issue. “She never told me nor did I ever infer that she was attacked by anyone. Any accounts to the contrary are false. I have no knowledge about anything Rose did or claimed to have done. Accounts otherwise are lies,” he said.

McGowan previously said that after telling Affleck about Weinstein’s misconduct, the actor even replied to her via e-mail. McGowan also accused her former manager, Jill Messick, of profiting off the actress’ silence about the disgraced producer’s sexual abuse.

Messick clarified that she was told by McGowan that she got into a hot tub with Weinstein, but it appeared as though what happened was consensual. Weinstein’s lawyer also released a statement slamming McGowan after her book “Brave” was released.

“Watching the performance by Rose McGowan as she looks to promote her new book however, has made it impossible to remain quiet as she tries to smear Mr. Weinstein with a bold lie that is denied not only by Mr. Weinstein himself, but by at least two witnesses,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Affleck’s recent clarification came after the actor went to church with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their three children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. Jennifer and Affleck have been spending time with their kids for the past couple of months. The “Batman” star goes back and forth from New York to Los Angeles to be with them.

Affleck also sees to it that he spends time with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, who is based in the Big Apple. After bonding with his family, Affleck flies back to NYC and goes out on dates with Shookus.

There is a recent speculation suggesting that the couple is already living together that’s why it’s not difficult for them to reunite, according to US Weekly. However, this rumors have not been confirmed by Affleck or Shookus.
