Ben Affleck ‘Wants’ Jennifer Lopez Back? ‘Gone Girl’ Star Sending ‘Flirty’ Texts To Ex-Girlfriend After Separation From Jennifer Garner: Report

Jennifer Garner, in her recent Vanity Fair interview, put to rest speculation about getting back together with Ben Affleck. Now, that their 10-year marriage has come to an end, Affleck is trying to reunite with his former love interest Jennifer Lopez, Hollywood Life reported citing Life & Style magazine.

“Ben’s focus right now is really on J. Lo,” an insider told Life & Style, according to Hollywood Life. “He thinks they’re better suited for each other now than they were before. He wants her back.”

In order to win Lopez back, the 43-year-old “Gone Girl” actor is sending her “flirty” text messages, the magazine’s source reportedly said. “To be honest, he’s never really gotten over J. Lo. He doesn’t regret marrying Jen and having three beautiful children, of course, but he does wonder what his life with J. Lo would have been like. That’s why he’s reaching out to her now,” the source said.

The 46-year-old Latina, however, does not seem to have fallen for the trick, the report added. “The ship has long sailed” for Lopez, another source told the magazine, according to Hollywood Life.

However, the report is unlikely to be true as rumor debunking website Gossip Cop dismissed the Life & Style magazine’s report. Sources close to Affleck and Lopez told the website that the report is “not true.”

Lopez and Affleck were linked together a few months after the actor announced his separation from Garner. National Enquirer had said last August that Affleck and Lopez were seen kissing and sharing a “lusty romp.” Some photos obtained by Enquirer showed the two “hugging and kissing in front of her family and friends,” and in a video, the two in their “rebound” are seen “locking lips while sitting in the Jacuzzi.”

This report was again debunked by Gossip Cop, which noted that the photos were from days when the two were dating from 2002 to 2004.

Garner told the Vanity Fair that Affleck is a “complicated guy.” She also said that his alleged relationship with their children’s nanny was a “bad judgment.”

“I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him,” Garner said. “And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”
