The Oscars wasn't the only awards show during the weekend. The 32nd Independent Spirit Awards took place Saturday at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California.
"Moonlight" won big, taking home the award for Best Picture and for Best Director, Barry Jenkins. Casey Affleck took home Best Male Lead for "Manchester By The Sea," Isabelle Huppert was honored as Best Female Lead for "Elle," Ben Foster took home Best Supporting Male for "Hell or High Water" and Molly Shannon was bestowed with the Best Supporting Female for "Other People."
There were also some major fashions moments at the event. Usually a little more laid-back than the Academy Awards, the beachside red carpet certainly didn't disappoint.
