Then there are the Super Bowl commercials, where 17.7 percent of viewers think the ads are the best part of the globally televised event. With commercial costs reaching up to $5.5 million for a 30-second slot, advertisers know there is pressure to stand out.
Many commercials have made their marks on audiences throughout Super Bowl history, from heart-warming Budweiser advertisements featuring puppies to Orwellian-themed ads by Apple. Indeed, some Super Bowl commercials have proven more memorable than others.
6. Snickers — “Betty White” (2010)
America’s "Golden Girl" Betty White took to the field herself in this 2010 advertisement. Yes, a stunt double was used when she gets tackled by a football player.
5. Pepsi — “Coke Delivery Guy” (1996)
The advertisement showed a soft drink delivery man sneaking in a Pepsi while on the job, while famed country music singer Hank Williams' “Your Cheatin' Heart" played in the background.

The commercial reportedly went viral after its debut in 2010 where more than 3.5 million views on YouTube in less than a month. Seven years later, the video has over 53 million views.
3. Apple — “Why 1984 Won’t Be Like 1984” (1984)
Considered one of the most impactful Super Bowl commercials, the 60-second ad played on George Orwell’s novel, “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” telling viewers that “Apple Computer will introduce Macintosh. And you’ll see why 1984 won’t be like 1984.”
2. Always — “Like A Girl” (2015)
The feminine hygiene brand, Always, stole the show during its 60-second commercial showing teen girls, young adults and children explain what they think the phrase, “like a girl” means. The advertisement aimed to tackle gender stereotypes, ending the clip with, “A girl’s confidence plummets during puberty. But it doesn’t have to.”
1. Budweiser — “Puppy Love” (2014)
The commercial, which features a love story between a puppy and a Clydesdale horse, was ranked the highest for both women and men in a list of the most-watched commercials during the Super Bowl, according to data analyzed by TiVo. The analysis showed that emotional advertisements with kids and animals were the most liked amongst all demographics.
