The Victoria's Secret Swim is in!

The 2012 Victoria's Secret Swim Collection catalog will arrive in mailboxes this week, featuring the likes of supermodels Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo and more, dress in over 150 new swimwear styles. Ms. Swanepoel graces the cover of this year's VS Swim catalog in a white, frilly lace bikini, as the star of the season's collection.

Swanepoel chatted with W magazine about her favorite beaches and how she gets her body bikini-ready.

When asked about her favorite place to swim, the 23-year-old replied: Brazil, I'm totally obsessed. I've been going since I was 17, and the first time I went, I fell in love with it. Just the energy, and I feel alive when I go down there. But I also love to go to St. Barts to shoot Victoria's Secret Swim. The water is so still and amazing, and there's a great energy there, too.

As for that drool-worthy bikini-body, Candice Swanepoel said that her supermodel status keeps her figure in check year-round.

I'm usually bikini-ready all year round. I try to train as much as I can, as much as my schedule allows it. Sometimes I'm too tired after work, so I try to work out in the morning. Usually like three or four times a week. Or, even if I do 15 minutes of running on the treadmill or yoga at home. You know? Just something to keep it up. If I'm on holiday, I'm active on the beach, I play tennis, I run, I swim a lot. It's just about making the workouts fun, I think, and then it doesn't really feel that bad, she told the fashion magazine.

The 2012 Victoria's Secret Swim Collection offers some gorgeous new styles for every sort of beach-goer.

Bikni tops are mainly bandeaus or halters this year. VS makes sure its girls do not have to muss or fuss with hard-to-adjust straps. As for the prints and textures, the bikinis echo a simpler flair than in previous years. Stand-out patterns are not made tacky by overwhelming fabrics; and beautiful textures are not laden with wild prints. Balance is key and these bikinis do not overwhelm the wearer.

Monokinis come with sexy twists. One of our favorites, worn by Swanepoel, is not for the faint of heart as it is a skin-bearing leopard print suit. Tankinis are no longer frumpy, but flirty, in cool retro styles that will flatter any figure.

New beach cover-ups also made it into the VS Swim line-up. The styles are easy, breezy with loose silhouettes and airy fabrics. Some, like the Very Sexy Palm-print Pant, can even work as stand-alone wardrobe pieces.
