Bethenny Frankel Is Single: 'Real Housewives Of New York City’ Star 'Will Never Get Legally Married Again'
"The Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel spoke about her current relationship status and her split from husband Jason Hoppy, during an interview with Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” on Sunday. The interview comes ahead of the hit Bravo reality series’ Season 7 premiere scheduled for April.
"I wish that my dating life was as colorful and exciting as it's written about, but right now I'm kind of at a standstill," Frankel said, according to E! News. "I dated this year, I've had a lot of different experiences but I have a daughter and I am still married.
"I don't know where my judgment is. I don't know what I'm looking for. I think the guy I'd need to be with needs to be able to handle me, which is a tall order,” she added.
According to reports, Frankel was linked to Michael "Mac" Cerussi III after she was spotted with him at the Mondrian South Beach hotel in Miami last year.
The 44-year-old also spoke out about her split from Hoppy and her marriage.
"I don't really view them as failures," she reportedly said. "I don't think of it that way, but I don't view them as successes. Don't get it twisted...I think of them as experiences and I really can't compare the two. They're very different experiences. We have to talk about them separately."
She later added: "I don't believe in regret. I am right where am I am because of all my experiences.” She said that a lack of mutual respect was one of the reasons that led to the disintegration of her marriage to Hoppy.
Frankel was also very clear about her wishes, when asked by Cohen, if she would ever have another televised wedding.
"Absolutely not. If anybody wanted to marry me on television I would run like a thief in the night... I will never get legally married again. It doesn't mean I wouldn't commit to someone. I'm not jaded, I'm not bitter about love. I think there are amazing guys out there in the world. It's none of that. I will never, ever be legally married again."
