Fans of the post-apocalyptic “Fallout 76” will be disappointed to know that Bethesda has chosen not to participate at IGN’s “Summer of Gaming” event. The digital-only convention won’t play host to Bethesda for reasons not disclosed by the developers.

Hawk-eyed Twitter users spotted the sudden pullout of the developer with some saying there were panels where the game was supposed to have been discussed, Gamerant reported. What happened was very noticeable – where “Fallout 76” was supposed to have appeared along with “Remnant: From the Ashes” and “Humankind,” it was instead replaced by “Baldur’s Gate 3.”

Bethesda hasn’t given any reasons for their sudden pullout from the event. It is known that in events like E3, Bethesda usually hosts their own panel and series of events to let players of their games know about their projects. It might do an event of its own, quite like how EA has done with its EA Play, where several big-name games and indie-developed projects have been revealed to the gaming public.

Perhaps, one of the issues is that they’re trying to figure out which errors or updates they need to report during the event. According to PlayStation Universe, there are issues with the game’s login on the PlayStation 4. This problem usually happens when a player is logging in to the server. Instead of successfully logging in, they are met with an “account lacks required entitlements” error.

Some fixes have been introduced, although it is more of a server-side issue. Bethesda has to introduce fixes and maintenance work on their part before the errors are fixed. In some cases, the problem can be fixed by simply restarting “Fallout 76.” If that doesn’t work, players can turn their PS4 on and off and try to log back in.

Bethesda has a lot to introduce aside from fixes. “Fallout 76’s” DLCs have been a huge success and the “Wastelanders” DLC expansion has been widely received by fans, mostly because it's free. Bethesda might be gearing up to announce a complete series of follow-ups to capitalize on the success of its first DLC expansion.
