The war against Mesa Verde and its head Kevin (Rex Linn) will intensify in “Better Call Saul” Season 5, episode 6. A preview video of the next episode has been released online and it shows Jimmy (Bob Odenkrik) coming up with a new scheme that could further put pressure on the multinational and at the same time jeopardise Kim’s (Rhea Seehorn) career.
A preview video of the next episode shows Jimmy bringing back his old filming crew. With free pizza and a small budget, the criminal lawyer will produce a commercial in his fight against Mesa Verde. Kim had previously uncovered Kevin’s weakness, which they will now exploit in their case.
Kim’s work against her client has put her career at risk with her boss suspecting that she may be doing something shady. She was able to keep her client after making a huge public scene at the office and the incident should remind her about her priorities in life.
According to the official plot synopsis of “Better Call Saul” Season 5, episode 6 Kim will try and stop Jimmy from launching his new scheme. However, it will be too late to stop the process. The two of them get into trouble and the preview video shows Jimmy confidently saying that the other side will not be able to prove anything.
A sneak peek scene of the next episode shows Jimmy using a green screen to make his commercial. What is this new scheme about? The fans will have to wait and watch the show to find out.
The official Twitter page of the show teased one of the tricks Jimmy used to delay the eviction of his client. It remains to be seen just how far they will go in this fight.
“Better Call Saul” Season 5, episode 6 is titled “Wexler v. Goodman.” It will air on March 23 at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
