“Better Call Saul” Season 5, episode 8 will be all about saving Lalo (Tony Dalton). Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) will be tasked with picking up the money from the drug cartel, but things will not go as expected.
A preview video of the next episode has been released online. Lalo knows that his rivals will do their best to keep him inside, which is why he needs Jimmy to pick up the money for him to secure his release. What he doesn’t know is that his lawyer also works for Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).
According to the official plot synopsis, Jimmy’s “errand” will go “sideways” and the lawyer will be “pushed to the limit.” The preview video shows bloodstains on the seat of a car, which shows the kind of danger Jimmy is getting himself into.
While Jimmy goes to pick up the money, Lalo will get an “unexpected visitor.” Will Gus visit his rival to pretend to be his friend? Meanwhile, the cartel will not be happy about the arrest and Mike (Jonathan Banks) will try and contain their anger in "Better Call Saul” Season 5, episode 8.
Another sneak peek scene of the next episode posted on TV Insider shows Lalo reading the news about the fire in one of Gus’ restaurants. The video also shows the Salamanca giving directions to the lawyer about where he can find the money. Jimmy will have to travel far into the desert to get the bags.
The show will also continue to explore the relationship between Jimmy and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) after their marriage. A quick addition in the previous episode also solved the problem of having to explain Jimmy’s previous marriages, Screen Rant reported.
“Better Call Saul” Season 5, episode 8 is titled “Bagman.” It will air on April 6 at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
